What is Google I/O?
Google I/O by Sheldon
- Not all that excited about the keynote
- Everything was "Fall 2016", no new products
- Web never mentioned, not a part of Allo or Duo
- Google Home does look cool and something I would use, hope it's $50
(so I can get several without tipping off the budget police!) - A Wiimote for VR? That got applause?
- The AI scares me but it's awesome (love Google Photos, Vision API)
- Android Instant Apps . . . like it because I don't want to have to install every app
- Android N name ideas from the community . . . I vote Nerds
Google I/O by Sheldon
- Really messed up logistics (food, session sizes, lines, lines, lines for lines)
- I like the outside venue with all the room but wish the extra room was used for bigger areas for sessions
- Amazing oportunity to network and learn as it has always been
- Many sessions were good and "technical enough" to be interesting to me
